One of our upcoming Fall 2007 titles is Hell and High Water by Lance Goddard, author of D-Day: Juno Beach and Canada and the Liberation of the Netherlands, May 1945. This time around, Lance examines Canada’s role in the Italian Campaign of World War II from the soldier’s perspective, notably from those who served in the Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry, the Perth Regiment, the Governor General’s Horse Guards, the Ontario Regiment, the 48th Highlanders, the Calgary Regiment, the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment, the Royal Canadian Dragoons, and the Royal Canadian Navy.
Thanks to Lance we are able to share a video clip of some of those interviews. More to come later.
