After reviewing Don Easton’s gritty mystery Loose Ends a few months ago, Bruce Grossman of Bookgasm is back with a fantastic review of Above Ground, the second book in Easton’s Jack Taggart mystery series.

You pretty much have to read the first book before this, since there is some major carry-over, with events from that book still being looked into. I won’t go into details, so as not to ruin it, but I’ll say one thing about Easton: He sure knows how to open a book in a big way.
