Canadian Heroines Contest 2007
Next time the CBC launches a quest for The Greatest Canadian, historian Merna Forster (author of 100 Canadian Heroines) hopes that Canadians will give more votes to women. To help spread the word about great Canadian women and kick-off Women’s History Month in Canada, Forster has launched the Canadian Heroines Contest through her website Heroines.ca.
The contest involves selecting your favourite heroine and submitting your pick in a creative manner, whether it may be in the form of a video clip, photograph, sculpture, or anything you can think of!
