This past weekend and yesterday saw a flurry of activity for Steven Skurka, author of Tilted: The Trial of Conrad Black. On Saturday, the Globe and Mail ran their review of Tilted, in which reviewer Douglas Bell wrote:
“For the reader with a general interest in the trial and the doings of the Hollinger Four, Skurka affords some fresh perspectives and original reporting.” To read the full review click here.
Steve’s legal expertise was in much demand yesterday. While Conrad Black was making his way to the Coleman Federal Correction Complex to start his prison sentence, Steven was talking with Beverly Thomson on Canada AM about Black’s new lifestyle.
“Clearly his family and Barbara Amiel will be able to visit him regularly,” he said. “But it’s a prison. You can talk about minimum security, maximum security… It’s a horrible lifestyle.”
Steven also appeared on The John Oakley Show, Calgary Today with Mike Blanchard and The World Tonight with Rob Breckenridge. For more information on Conrad Black and his trial click here to read an excerpt from Tilted.
