Speechless shortlisted for the Ann Connor Brimer Award!

It’s a good day for Valerie Sherrard: Speechless was shortlisted for the Ann Connor Brimer Award for Children’s Literature! Established in 1990, the Ann Connor Brimer Award recognizes writers in Atlantic Canada who have made an outstanding contribution to children’s literature.

Winners will be announced at the Atlantic Book Awards Ceremony on May 12 at Alderney Landing, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We here at the Dundurn would like to send our heartfelt congratulations to Valerie and wish her the best of luck!
