The March issue of the South Asian magazine Desi News includes a positive review of The Third Eye by Mahtab Narsimhan. Here is a sample of what the Editor, Shagorika Easwar, had to say about The Third Eye:

“I’d better confess right up-front that the only children’s books I enjoy (and can re-read any time) are those that I loved as a child.

Thus you will understand the hesitation with which I picked up Mahtab Narsimhan’s The Third Eye. A cruel stepmother, men who disappear from the village only to return in a strange, altered form, and a new healer with a third eye…you see where I am going with this?

But Narsimhan, a Toronto-based writer, had me hooked from the prologue.”
