Catalogues, invoices and media kits are the typical mail deliveries in a marketer’s life. Imagine my surprise when last week in amongst the daily stack of envelopes, I found a postcard — from Timbuktu, no less!

Zak, the intrepid guide from our forthcoming travel book, To Timbuktu for a Haircut by Rick Antonson, thanked me for helping to sell his story. While Timbuktu is a notoriously remote location, Zak’s postcard took only a month to arrive.
Watch for To Timbuktu for a Haircut to arrive in about a month at your favourite bookstore.
Margaret is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Dundurn Press. A resident of the inner city, she's really a lover of regional history, country fairs and canoe trips.
